The Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser has been out for just over a week and someone has already given it the Wes Anderson treatment. Director Jonah Feingold has remixed the teaser with the auteur’s distinctive visual and narrative style: bold titles, limited colour palettes, dry wit and so on.
The clip also features Wes Anderson-inspired audio, including Françoise Hardy’s “Le Temps de l’Amour” – a 60s French pop song recently revived in Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. The remix makes the film look more like a French space-comedy than the film J. J. Abrams is likely to release.
